Steelwings

Steelwings Rustenburg had it’s opening day on 11 May 2007 at CTFM.

This Chapter was founded by Four Main Founders and seven other Founders. Two of the Main Founders; Div and Annatjie de Villiers, past away on 2 July 2008 in a car accident – Div was the President of 2007 & 2008. The other two Main founder members were Deon and Marquarite.

The other seven founders consisted of:

- Herman van Wyk
- Elize van Wyk
- Johan Horn
- Maruschka Esterhuizen
- Phillip de Villiers
- Piet Els
- Martie Els

Five of the above mentioned founder members, still remains in the Club.

The Steelwings Rustenburg Run, which is held the first weekend in July every year, will be called the “Div & Annatjie Weekend” from 2009.
